Migraine update ... magnesium and limited fructose
I'd been toying around with trying magnesium supplements for awhile. I bought The Magnesium Solution for Migraine Headaches - and I read it over. This seemed like something worth a shot. So, I've been taking magnesium since mid May.

My other latest hunch is that fructose could be part of my problem. I already know that High Fructose Corn Syrup is a trigger. One sip of a dark soda and I'm in agony in a matter of minutes. But there was something pushing me to think that maybe I have an issue with all kinds of processed sugars and fructose in general. This is by far the most extreme thing I've tried, but I've cut out all known fructose since mid last week as well. I'm trying to follow the guidelines for people with fructose intolerances, which can be found here:

I've found it tends to be similar to the Atkins diet, but I can have carbs. But its odd, for sure.

The good news is this - I feel some better. I've had only two migraines since I started, and I suspect that it was because of a change in the barometer. The second one no clear trigger for me.

Anyway, thought I'd put this little tidbit out there. I'll try and update as I make new observations.
